Week 6 waiver panic: chase volume or touchdowns?

This week's popular adds could not be more different. Northport's backup runner handled sixteen touches after the starter tweaked an ankle, while the Lake City slot receiver has scored three times on eleven targets. Assuming standard waivers and no long-term injury news, I am spending on the runner. Temporary volume can win a week; touchdown efficiency usually sends an invoice later. How much budget are you using?
