Three consecutive league wins is welcome news for Tottenham, but I'm still not entirely convinced.
The 1–0 win over Crystal Palace was useful, but let's not pretend it was completely convincing. Mateta went off injured after just 13 minutes, yet Spurs didn't get their second goal until the 73rd minute.
That's a long time to leave the door open for a comeback. Against a better side, that sort of performance could easily cost you points.
I'll take the wins, of course. But I want to see Spurs controlling games rather than making supporters sweat until the final whistle.
Spurs fans, how patient are you? https:// www.skysports.com/football/tottenham-hotspur-vs-crystal-pala ce/559533
