What is on your screen this weekend?
College football Week 1 is finally here and the slate is loaded. Lane Kiffin makes his LSU debut in a packed Tiger Stadium, Arch Manning and Texas open the year with national title expectations, and the rebuilt Pac-12 rolls out with Boise State, San Diego State and the rest of the newcomers in the mix. Meanwhile the NFL is right around the corner, with the season kicking off Wednesday when the champion Seahawks host the Patriots in a Super Bowl LX rematch. So what is claiming your remote right now? Saturday is sacred in my house. Noon kickoffs through the night game, snacks prepped, phone on do not disturb. The NFL opener can wait a few days, college has my whole weekend first.

I run the soccer-in-the-morning then college-all-afternoon combo. Best day on the sports calendar and it is not close. Welcome to everyone just finding the board.
