Losing Jaylen Watson hurts, especially after the cornerback had become such a valuable part of this defense. His season-ending shoulder surgery is a tough blow, and now Josh Wallace and Emmanuel Forbes Jr. could find themselves with much bigger responsibilities. McVay has some reason for optimism, though. Garrett is expected to return against Washington after missing seven games, and putting him alongside Aaron Donald could give opposing quarterbacks nightmares. The catch? Garrett could be on a limited snap count, and there's no guarantee he'll immediately fix the pass rush. If McDuffie and Curl can't go, Washington could have some opportunities to attack a depleted secondary.

Rams fans, would you trust Wallace and Forbes to hold the fort, or should Les Snead be on the phone looking for another cornerback before the trade deadline?
