Joe Burrow put on quite a show against Tennessee, throwing for 462 yards and five touchdowns while adding another score on the ground in Cincinnati's 43-36 overtime victory. That's the kind of performance that gets people talking about the MVP award. However, there's another number worth discussing. Three interceptions.

I'm not going to dismiss those turnovers simply because Cincinnati won. All three were picked off by Tennessee safety Amani Hooker, and they gave the Titans opportunities to stay in a game they might otherwise have lost. Against a better opponent, those mistakes could have been extremely costly.

What impressed me was how Burrow responded. He didn't fold after the interceptions or start playing scared. He kept attacking, found Tee Higgins for a crucial late touchdown and eventually ran in the winning score himself in overtime.

That's an important part of evaluating a quarterback. Mistakes matter, but so does the ability to recover from them. Still, there's a difference between taking calculated risks and repeatedly putting the football in danger.

Burrow has plenty of ammunition for his MVP argument after this performance. But I'd like to see how he handles the next few games before getting carried away. The best quarterbacks don't just produce spectacular numbers. They also know when a risky throw isn't worth making.

So where do you stand? Does a six-touchdown performance outweigh three interceptions, or should those turnovers raise questions about Burrow's decision-making and MVP credentials?
