David Moyes has left the door open for Jack Grealish, but I'm not convinced he should automatically get his starting place back.
Grealish has missed three games following a disciplinary issue and fitness concerns. Meanwhile, Everton have beaten Newcastle 3–1 in the cup and 1–0 in the league without him. That's hardly a team desperate for someone to come back and rescue them.
I like Grealish as a player, and there's no question he can offer something going forward. But football doesn't work on reputation alone. If the players who stepped in have done the job, they deserve some credit.
Moyes needs to make Grealish earn his place back.
Everton fans, would you put him straight back in the starting XI when he's fit, or stick with the players who got the results against Newcastle?
