MANCHESTER UNITED FANS, THE RED CARD ISN’T THE ONLY PROBLEM!

Lisandro Martínez’s red card will dominate the headlines, but United’s defensive problems started long before he walked off the pitch.

Chelsea’s match report highlights how Morgan Rogers breezed past Harry Maguire and Martínez to score the opener. The second yellow card and Cole Palmer’s penalty then made it 2-0.

Let's be honest: you’re still in the game at 1-0 down. Losing a man makes a comeback much harder, but it doesn't explain how Rogers found so much space and sliced through the middle of United’s defence in the first place.

The big question is: who takes responsibility for United’s defensive organisation?

What would you change at the back before the next Premier League game? Would you change the defensive pairing, the tactics or the entire approach?
